Great food on the north part of downtown. There is free parking for the restaurant on the left (north) side of the building. Fried chicken sandwich and Caesar salad were great.
Definitely recommend! Casual & great space- back patio was cool with lights and trees. One of our drinks was missing something, but they fixed it with no issues! Food was delicious! Loaded Italian nachos and pizza were both so good!
Leaving Lexington after two years and sadly found this restaurant the night before we left. Set in the background on the enclosed patio weather by the cozy fireplace. I had the veggie burger with a side of fried spinach. I like all kinds of vegetables but I have never had fried spinach and I suggest you try it! It was so light and fluffy it almost melts in your mouth. Boyfriend had the cheeseburger and said it was great. Very friendly staff. The bar is fun in the front of the restaurant but was a little too brightly lit for us so we sat in the back. The games were on tvs all over the place, so it was a perfect setting for me to have my warm fireplace and my boyfriend to be able to watch the game. If you don’t like TVs when you eat, this is not the place for you. Laid-back cozy atmosphere. Good for meet up with friends or a casual first date.
Our first time to Lexington and I googled places to eat lunch and The Goose came up. I liked the vibe and the menu so that was our choice. We sat on the patio and it was pleasant. Excellent friendly service and the food and drinks were great. We enjoyed everything about The Goose.
We ate at the goose after an evening of Christmas carols on strings by candlelight with a group of friends. The food was great (especially the option of gluten free pizza!), the atmosphere was ambient, and the service was fabulous!
This was such a pleasant experience! So relaxing and real. Set right in the neighborhood with a bar in the front a dining room in the back a second bar in the back, and a great patio space! The food was superb, the service was excellent, atmosphere was so cool like going to your best friends place for dinner. If it’s always like this I will be bringing friends over and over!
Came for a girl's night dinner. Had a salad with salmon and a couple cocktails. Everything was very good. Can't wait to come back to try their Figgy Bleu pizza.
Great menu, from salads, burgers, sandwiches, pizzas, and various entrees. I've had the baked ziti, grill roasted beef, figgy blue pizza, and the Italian pizza. All were delicious! Can't wait to go back! Parking can be a little difficult on a busy night, but the food is worth it.
Great pub like atmosphere and even better food!!! Also, family friendly and not too expensive.
The Goose holds a special place in my heart. We discovered this place while my husband and I were first engaged. We had a look we wanted, so we had trolling around town for the most beautiful bars. They were so gracious to let us come and take photos. Wine and pizza are always amazing every time we’ve found ourselves back introducing this place to new friends. Even on a Friday night, they were able to seat a group of 7 immediately. Figgy Blue, Buffalo Chicken, and the Italian were hits! All pizza can be in gluten free as well! The crew is always so sweet and attentive. During the summer, they have an outside patio.
